Reflection of foreign language students in higher education: metatextual level

The article deals with the concept of linguistic reflection in field foreign language education and its verbalization on metatextual level. ability for is an indicator a developed personality. purpose this research to study students higher school. Definitions key concepts work are given: personality reflection. Linguistic can be verbalized through inclusions: elements metatext. definitions these concepts, brief typology characteristics given. material was texts messages (oral, written) Chelyabinsk State University students. Metatextual inclusions that use their statements analyzed classified. importance using statement as whole considered. emphasized not only development student’s personality, but also full functioning educational activity itself. Conclusions made about relationship between common reference Students who capable reflecting behavior demonstrate level proficiency language.
